In science students conducted an investigation to prove their hypothesis that seeds hold water. Each group weighed 5 lima beans dry and found the mass in grams. Then they added water to just cover the beans. The next day they found the mass of the five soaked lima beans. Thus, scientifically proving their hypothesis that seeds hold water using the collected data.
