4th Graders Teach Us About Pattern Block Areas

In fourth grade math we have been studying pattern block areas. Each group chose a shape to study. They discovered how many sides, angles, and sets of parallel lines their shape had. Next, they compared the area of their shape to three other pattern block areas. Last, they taught the rest of the class what they learned! Look how smart we are!!
