Red Clover Day

What a great way to celebrate our love for reading! Mrs.Hayes spent a lot of time reading each Red Clover Book contender for 2014 to each K-4 class. She organized a wonderful morning in which children were placed in mixed grade level groups run by sixth graders. The sixth graders each read aloud their favorite Red Clover Book to their group. Each group worked as a team to create a banner and a presentation in the hopes of persuading other groups to vote for the book they were celebrating. It was so fun to observe the teamwork among group members and the leadership roles the 6th graders took on. The presentations were fabulous! The book The World's Greatest Lion won over the hearts of Folsom K-4 students.
